  1. Call to Order at 6:32pm, 22 attendees
    1. Motion to open by Megan Zellner
    2. Confirm quorum (10 members), voting is 50% of attendees – Quorum is reached 35 participants.
  1. Treasurer Report – Audrey

 

  1. Membership update: 609 members numbers to date. ~730 students currently enrolled.

  2. Fundraising update.
    1. April 1st auction set at Balcones Country Club.
    2. Check writing campaign underway
  3. DEI Committee update – one world one night was a great success. Some lessons learned for next year to be discussed over the next couple of weeks.

  4. Programs update: Purchasing started for lit library. Garden projects to being over the next couple of weeks. School supplies ordering begum. STEM day was a huge success.

  5. Clubs update: volunteer needed for the math club event.

  6. Donuts for grown-ups scheduled for May 10th. Ask for volunteers.

  7. Principal Solis update on school: field day coming up and need grade level volunteers. Round Rock job fair open April 22nd – will be hard at work to ensure full staff coverage.

  8. Parliamentarian update: Not much change to the by-laws
    1. Listing the months the PTA meetings (member and board will run)
    2. Not changing annual dues that PTA have to pay to Texas board
    3. Keeping quorum the same
    4. People cannot serve in more than 1 role
      Motion by Olivia to pass the by-laws, motion passed with more than two-thirds vote
  9. Committee needed to approve meeting minutes – Grace Miller
    1. Liz Simmons, Tammy Dendy, and Lacey Ramos to approve minutes – approved as committee
